Graft vs Host Disease

Graft vs Host Disease is an aggressive disease in patients who have undergone allogenic stem cell transplantation, especially when matching is sub-optimal.  Our technology would prevent GvHD and allow haplo-identical stem cell transplatations for the treatment of hematological malignancies with partially matched donors by reducing the donor immune cells that are reactive to the recipient immune cells.  This selective elimination of ‘allo-reactive’ donor immune cells is done ex vivo prior to the transplantation.
