Dr Vinod Kuberkar completed his Integrated M.Tech in biotechnology from the Indian Institute of Technology at Delhi and PhD from the University of Colorado at Boulder, USA. He also has PGPX MBA from the Indian Institute of Management at Ahmedabad. In his professional career, Vinod has worked for Amgen (California), Baxter Healthcare (Maryland), and Sulzer Biologics (Colorado) in the US, and Wockhardt Biotech (Aurangabad) and Intas Biopharmaceuticals (Ahmedabad) in India. His diverse roles have spanned both technical and techno-commercial domains. Vinod left well-paid salaried career to pursue entrepreneurship by starting Western Range Biopharmaceuticals.

Dr Senthilkumar Natesan did his PhD from the Indian Veterinary Research Institute, Izatnagar, India, and postdoctoral fellowship at The Johns Hopkins University, USA. He was an Assistant Professor at the School of Medicine, University of Maryland, USA.His research was focused on intersection of virology, immunology, and cell biology to understand the key aspects of virus-host cell interaction and the viral pathogenesis. In particular, he helped identify a new type of immune precursor cells (called ‘Human Nurse Macrophage’) during his work on AIDS virus. He left a promising and comfortable academic career in the US and returned to India to join Western Range Biopharmaceuticals.
